• La Ruta: From the Coffee Trails of El Salvador to Your London Mug.

The bridge between heritage and the global coffee community, built on 15 years of passion.

I grew up among coffee plantations, surrounded by the aroma of my grandmothers' coffee, often infused with cinnamon. La Ruta Coffee is not just a business; it is the taste of my childhood and the essence of being Salvadoran, brought directly to London.

For 15 years, my work as a tour guide took me to every corner of my country's coffee plantations. I didn't just see the farms; I met the families, understood the culture, and walked the paths (the Rutas) that connect these incredible mountains to the world.

Four years ago, my own journey brought me to London. I never imagined that I would end up in this vibrant city, selling the crown jewel of my homeland.

My Role Today: I am not the producer, I am the Curator. I am your expert guide on this journey.

La Ruta Coffee works directly with a select group of small producers in different areas (Chalatenango, Apaneca, Ataco) to select only the most exceptional lots: the floral Geisha, the giant Pacamara, and the friendly Bourbon.

Unlike most importers, our coffee is roasted and packaged at source. This ensures that every 250g bag reaches you with the flavour and natural oils perfectly sealed in.

We bring it to you roasted because we trust the expertise of our roasters in El Salvador, who understand the identity of these beans better than anyone. From the farm to your door in London, we control every step.

My mission is simple: to use my experience to tell you the story of my country through its coffee. Each cup is an invitation to travel.

    Welcome to La Ruta.
